STELR at CONASTA in Darwin

The STELR team made a brief visit to Darwin last week to participate in CONASTA 68.

As well as having a trade display, we hosted a session outlining all the new STELR resources. We ran activities with the equipment packs (including Sustainable Housing and Electricity and Energy and outlined the new teaching resources which are available for downloading from the STELR website (free of charge). These include Water in the 21st Century and Future Health. We were pleased to have Beryl Hodson and John Waddell from our supplier, IEC, attend our session.

We would like to thank the conference organising committee and the staff at Darwin HS for their assistance during the conference.

For those who filled in our Contact Details forms at the STELR trade display, the winner was drawn by Dr Maggie Evans-Galea AM, the Executive Director of IMNIS (Industry Mentoring Network in STEM).

The winner of the STELR Solar Car Kit is: Michelle Clausen from Farrer Memorial Agricultural HS in Tamworth NSW. Congratulations Michelle!
