You are invited to attend this hands-on workshop for primary and secondary teachers implementing the STELR Renewable Energy and/or the Electricity and Energy  program in their schools and those wanting to try out the equipment and activities.

  • Contents of the STELR Renewable Energy equipment pack (secondary) and the STELR Electricity and Energy equipment pack (Primary)
  • Hands-on workshops – solar, wind, hydroelectricity – using the STELR equipment
  • STELR flexible solar panels
  • Overview of the STELR curriculum materials
  • Implementation of the STELR program using the teacher and student books and the iSTELR on-line learning platform
  • The principles of inquiry-based science education
  • Introduction to other STELR programs including Sustainable Housing and Solar Cars
